Data protection notice for social media channels (O_ES_PL)
This data protection notice applies to the processing of your personal data when operating our social media channels.
1. Data Controller

We maintain social media channels on the networks of LinkedIn, YouTube, X, XING, Facebook, Instagram. As the operator of these channels, we are controllers within the meaning of Art. 4 No. 7 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), together with the respective network operators:
- LinkedIn: LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland, hereinafter: LinkedIn,
- YouTube: Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter: YouTube,
- X: Twitter International Company, One Cumberland Place, Fenian Street, Dublin 2, D02 AX07, Ireland, hereinafter: X,
- Facebook: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland, hereinafter: Facebook,
- Instagram: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland, hereinafter: Instagram.
As joint controllers of these channels, we have concluded agreements with the network operators that regulate, among other things, the conditions for the use of channels and similar web presence. The following agreements are relevant in each case:
- LinkedIn: LinkedIn Terms of Service and Joint Responsibility with LinkedIn;
- YouTube: Privacy Policy and Terms of Service of YouTube/Google;
- X: Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy of X;
- Facebook: Facebook's Terms of Service and Joint Responsibility with Meta;
- Instagram: Instagram's Terms and Imprint, Privacy Policy and Joint Responsibility with Meta.

We also have user accounts with the following network platforms:

We have agreements with the network operators in place, which among other things, regulate terms and conditions for platform use. The network operators are responsible for data processing on these network platforms. The following agreements and information on data processing are applicable in each case:
- XING: General Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy,
- kununu: General Terms and Conditions, kununu Guidlines and the Privacy Policy.

3. Processing of personal data by Technoform
As the owners of a social media profile, we can only view public user profiles visiting our page and information depending on the user's profile settings (e.g., first and last name or profile picture). Personal data is also processed when contact is made via our profile in order to process information and respond to your messages and posts.
For marketing purposes, we process personal data based on the so-called legitimate interest of the data controller (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), in particular to contact the user in connection with their inquiries or posts. Data will be processed in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) GDPR if the inquiry concerns entering into a contract with us.
4. Processing of the user’s personal data by Technoform and the administrator of the relevant social media platform as joint controllers
Administrators of the relevant social media platforms provide us with "Page Analytics," i.e. anonymous statistics that we can use to assess the quality of our pages and content on social media. These statistics are collected based on usage data that the administrators of the respective social media platforms gather regarding user interactions with our page. Technoform does not have access to platform usage data.
Compliance with the applicable obligations regarding Page Analytics data, the fulfillment of users' rights under the GDPR, and the provision of essential information about the applicable agreement in this regard are the responsibility of the administrators of the specific social media platforms.

The processing of personal data is carried out based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, in particular for the purpose of determining user preferences and adapting and improving the content published on our social media channels for target audiences.
5. Scope and duration
We will store the user’s personal data in our systems outside the social media platform if and for as long as it is necessary for the purposes of data collection or to comply with legal record-keeping requirements.
The user is not legally or contractually obliged to provide their personal data. However, processing of the user’s personal data is unavoidable if they wish to visit our social media profiles.
Some of the collected information may also be processed outside the European Union. To ensure an adequate level of data protection, the administrators of the respective social media platforms rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, where necessary, or on additional safeguard mechanisms.
6. Your rights
You have the following rights against us in relation to personal data concerning you:
- Right to information (Art. 15 GDPR).
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR).
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR).
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR).
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
- Right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR).
- Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR).
- Right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
7. Validity and modification of this data protection notice
This data protection notice is currently valid (see status in the heading). Due to the further development of our offers or due to changes in legal or official requirements, it may become necessary to change this data protection notice.
